Introducing the BumpStop TECHNOLOGY - Lock bumping, a surprisingly simple method of breaking into locked doors and padlocks, poses a significant threat to personal property security. Virtually all locks currently in use are highly susceptible to bumping. However, there is a solution. BumpStop Advanced Cylinder Technology incorporates an innovative, patent pending design that utilizes a unique reverse rake tapered driver pin, high performance springs, and tightly machined cylinder chambers. This design prevents the transfer of force from the bump key to the pins during a bump attempt, thus preventing the rotation of the cylinder and keeping the lock secured.

Specifications: The locks feature a 2" (51mm) wide laminated steel body for exceptional durability. The 1-1/2"L (38mm) x 3/8" thick octagonal BORON CARBIDE shackle is 50% harder than hardened steel.
