Lockout Tagout Group Lock Box, 12 Padlock Capacity, Red

The Master Lock 498A Lockout Tagout Latch Tight™ Portable Red Group Lock Box is designed with a durable powder-coated red finish and an ergonomic handle that is easy to grip. It can accommodate up to 12 workers, or even more when using lockout hasps. The lock box is able to secure each lockout point on a piece of equipment with just one designated lock, and captures keys from those lockout points by placing them in the box.

To use the lock box, each authorized employee locks their personal safety lock onto the box and removes it only when their work is complete. The exclusive Latch Tight™ feature ensures that keys cannot be accessed until the last lock is removed. This lockout tagout group lock box is best utilized as part of a comprehensive OSHA compliant lockout tagout safety program.

The box has a durable powder-coated red finish and an easy-to-grip, ergonomic metal handle. It features a "Lock Out" message in English, Spanish, and French. The group lock box measures 9-1/4 inches (23.5 cm) in length, 3-3/4 inches (9.5 cm) in height, and 6 inches (15.2 cm) in depth, and weighs 4.17 lbs (0.46 kg).

Included in the package is one Latch Tight group lock box which fits up to twelve (12) Master Lock 410 Safety Padlocks (padlocks sold separately). It is able to secure each lockout point on a piece of equipment with just one designated safety padlock and has an exclusive Latch Tight feature which ensures that keys cannot be accessed until the last safety padlock is removed. It is designed to accommodate up to 12 workers, and more when using lockout tagout hasps (sold separately).
